Child Care Subsidy
(CCS) Estimator

The Childcare Subsidy Calculator (CCS) to provide greater assistance to low and middle income families

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is the primary form of government assistance to help families with their childcare fees, offering increased support to low and middle-income families to make childcare more affordable.

The Childcare Subsidy Estimator is a helpful tool that allows families to calculate savings based on their income and eligibility. By using this childcare subsidy calculator, parents can get an estimate of how much financial support they can receive to cover childcare fees at various childcare centres.

This tool takes into account the subsidy rates, providing an accurate snapshot of potential savings. If you qualify for the additional childcare subsidy, you may be eligible for further assistance. It helps families across Australia manage the cost of quality early education for their children.

To begin, apply for a childcare subsidy through the official application process and use the childcare calculator to explore your potential savings. Childcare subsidy programs are designed to support families and make early learning more accessible.

How to Calculate Childcare Subsidy:

To determine your eligibility and the amount of subsidy you can receive, use the childcare subsidy calculator. This tool calculates your CCS by taking into account important factors such as your family’s income, the number of hours you work, and the hourly rates charged by your childcare centres. It gives you an accurate estimate of your potential savings, helping you better manage and plan for your childcare expenses.

  1. Log in to the myGov account and click on Centrelink.
  2. Fill in the childcare subsidy application form with your family’s income and work hours.
